H's cafe, a popular Sunday biking venue in Oxfordshire, ran out of bacon by lunchtime today. The shock occurrence was discovered at about 1:30pm when staff panicked as the queue reached out through the door.
There were scenes of acute disappointment, when bikers discovered they had travelled many miles to be faced with the disastrous shortage.

Reg Grob, of Acacia Road, Blandville, said, "It was a nightmare. I'd only had a cuppa for breakfast, and was looking forward to getting my fix. This has ruined everything, I really don't know what to do."

Others were said to have turned white with shock, and one man narrowly avoided a heart attack when he was rushed a sausage butty just in time. Paramedics said, "It's not ideal, and we would only recommend it as an emergency measure, but it saved the man's life."

Disgruntled customers spoke of an attempt by Islamic Radicalists to undermine the morale of Western society, but a police spokesman has said that it was a one-off that slipped through the net; new measures would be introduced to make sure that it could not happen again.

Oh, and anyone know why me Speedfight is struggling to get 30? Sad

I suggest a refridgerated red framed glass box on the wall with a pound of bacon in it.. 'In case of emergency'

Why can't one of those uni pillocks who bombard us with their stupid ideas develop something genuinely useful to bikers like this?

I take it they couldn't find a rider with a top box to make a quick run to the local shop becasue hipster poser cafe?

Meanwhile up north there was plentiful supply of milky coffee, pasties and chips.

Forget blood bikers, we need a team of bacon bikers for this national emergency.

As an aside, i noticed the subway built into the Shell garage on the a19 in doncaster is claiming halal, is this a chain wide thing? I thought subway served many hamlike substances? That subway in the petrol station is the latest craze around here would be awesome given the frequency i fuel myself and the bike at the same time, but I'd rather not eat something that was tortured to death. Or dedicated to a god that isn't mine.

I ride past a farm shop that appears to supply most of the local butchers. It is open almost never. It's almost like they dont want to sell vast amounts of pig to the public. It's not like I buy a whole side of bacon every time they're bloody open.
