So, I brought my bike up here from Italy (fz6 fazer 600 2004) and.. i discovered I can't change the speedo from km to miles.
Now I found a separate second hand clock from Ebay, 55 £ and I know the speed healer cost a bit more, plus the work that I have to do and I'm crap at this.
Changing the clock seems easier to me, but.. does change the clock doing the job? or it's something related to other config which I don't know?

Even an alternative speedo is ok. The one on ebay has one of the top mount broken, so I'd rather take something fully working..

the cheapest and fastest way is to get speedohealer and it is plugged directly in your existing harness £84:

https://www.sasautocustoms.co.uk/healtech-speedohealer-v4/94-healtech-speedohealer-sh-v4-sh-y01-yamaha.html

you can buy the same in Europe much cheaper £55:

https://www.healtech-electronics.de/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=&product_id=42&category_id=18&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&vmcchk=1&Itemid=1

See the installation guide, the work of removing your existing speedometer and adding new one will be way much more and more complicated, compared to just plugin speedohealer to the existing harness on your bike.

Why can't you change it? On mine (same year) you can toggle between km/h and mp/h by holding down the "select" button on the dash (whilst ignition is on). Have you tried that?

I tried, but your bike is an English one, while my is Italian. Yamaha didn't think Italian guys needed miles apparently..

Yeah, I saw them. I think the clock is a better option providing that is working.

This is the same as a speedo healer, which is a good option, but my first one is to change the clock, if that works

Probably the way I'd go too TBH, maybe sell the KMPH one to recoup some £s. Do you have a link to the £55 one with the bust mounting on eBay?
