Good morning all.

I'm new to the forum, just joined tonight.
Now new to biking, held a licence for around 12 years.
Now I've got a new project

I've bought myself an only 1999 GSX600F it's a non runner just now, the last owner somehow miss placed one of the carb bowls. I know.
If finding it near imposible to get a carb bowl on its own.
Anyone know of any other bikes that might use the same carb.
Didn't really want to fork out for a new set of carbs just because of a missing bowl.

Thanks for reading and cheers for any reply

Unsure if bandit ones are similar. I'd probably look at bandit 6, rf600 or similar vintage 600 suzukis

Really GT200
I've looked through countless pages and only found the gasket kits. Can't find the bowls anywhere and can't find a part number anywhere for them.

Thanks Paddy, I'll see if I can get some picture of those other bikes and have a search for them.

At the risk of asking the bleedin' obvious, have you tried identifying and searching for the make and model of the carb rather than the bike?

<Tef>I did manage to lose a tank mounting rubber in my garage. Knocked it loose, it fell and apparently vanished straight into hyperspace. [X files music]</Tef>

Have you looked at a parts fiche for the bike, checked the part No. and tried ordering it that way?

GSXF's if I remember correctly use Mikuni BST34's where as Bandits use Keihins.

According to a hastily scrounged workshop manual, a 1999 GSX600F uses Mikuni BSR32SS carbs.

The later bandit 1200s have BSR36SS carbs, the float bowls MAY be interchangeable.

Yes gents, I've got the haynes service book and got the mikuni bsr32ss model for the carb search but can I find anything online. Not a chance.
I've contacted mikuni themselves to see if they could still supply them.

Tru dat, they've been making a big deal about their "vintage parts" program, so if your dealer gives it the big shrug, rat them out to Suzuki UK.

GT200 has already said they are still available, nothing to do with being a vintage part. Just check a fiche or call a dealer and ask.

Thanks temeluchus. I found a similar site last week . But is still can't see the carb bowls on there. I can buy every other part to completely rebuild the carbs but not the bowls. Dealership will help with the same, every part apart from the bowl. Pain in the neck

Thanks Vincent. Yea that's for the pre 98 model. Different spec. I'll keep looking at the parts code and searching Google.
