I've got a link to a thread in work for a post on another forum which I found on Google, a guy who wired one of these into his bike on the wires for his lights or summat. Not a bad wee device, you put a 3G sim into it, gie it a call when you want a location, and it texts you back with coordinates and a link to the Google map location. Thought about it masel.

Edit: In work, got the link saved in my faves - https://www.fastbikesmag.com/fastbikes-forum/showthread.php?t=441

This is a fantastic idea. For some reason I thought a GPS tracking thing would cost a fair bit more.

I think I saw some guy with a van eyeing up my bike this morning as well. Definitely going to look into this, cheers Thumbs Up

The Battery is only good for around 1 day max especially if you get it to send a few messages, I use one to track an elderly relative in case they get lost, however you can get a wiring kit to hardwire it to the bike from eBay.

Cheap android phone?

Probably be got for less second hand.

Do it right and you remove the camera and put it on the dash to see if you can get a glimpse of people involved.
