expected to be around £9899, which seems steep in comparison to the model they are replacing. I'm fairly sure the t100 is about 6.5k?

I think OP is asking if he will be able to pick up a bargain on a old/current version as dealers struggle to clear them quickly with the new versions waiting in the wings.

I doubt it. Probably lots of people are holding out for new ones but probably lots of other people will be keen to snap up the old ones too. "last chance to buy a proper air cooled brit bike not a water cooled, Euro4 one " etc.

I should have made the question more clear I hoped that there might be huge price drop ! however do you think that whether air or water cooled would make much difference in street cred ? I have listened to Harley owners slag off their water cooled versions ?

It doesn't matter, the fact is some people will be eager to get the old models, and some people will be eager to get the new ones. This isn't like a sportsbike where the old model is suddenly pointless to a large proportion of the people in the market for one.
