Hi guys, I'm new here and just looking for advice and looking to help anyone if I can.
I've had a look around on the internet but can't find anything definitive so am asking here does anyone know if there is a purpose built cone filter for the Honda cbf125 ? If not could you advise one that would be suitable. I'm not looking to boost preformance as I know these engines are pretty much at there limits anyway just prefer the sound of a cone.
Also has anyone got any experience with the Danmoto Carbon gp remote sound exhausts ? Are they any good ?

All that money you could spend on your CBF won't make it any faster, prettier or cooler. Take that cash and put it in a pile. Then:

A) set fire to it

Or

B) put it in the big bike fund

Either option is preferable as you won't have done something silly to a perfectly good commuter.

I'm with GT200 on this one however before you do, the sound from a cone is laughable on a 125. The exhaust would drown it out anyway. You'd be better off just either leaving it and saving for big test or getting the bus.

But some money on fresh tyres that are of a good make might just make corners faster and safer as winter comes. (Stock were very iffy on mine)
You aren't going to get any extra speed, so perhaps make sure you can maintain what you have built up through the bends.

Take the pipe off the top of the airbox, and/or drill or cut some big holes in it (before the filter).

Just like with a cone filter, it'll sound essentially the same and it'll run worse, but at least it won't cost you anything and you can always put the pipe back or duct tape over the holes when you come to your senses.
