Grease for packing shock bearings/linkage? Marine or Moly?

Just had an absolute nightmare removing a shock off a CBF500, lower bearing well and truly seized. Had to be drilled and hacksawed out. All sorted now, with new bearing etc, but I don't want a repeat.

So, I've got a tube of Lith grease and I've got a tub of Granville White Marine Grease. Kind of figured the latter would be best - water proof and salt water resistant etc. But I've read many opt for Molybdenum Disulphide grease.

So, would the Marine grease suffice or am I better off picking up some Moly grease?

We tried W/P on boat trailer wheel bearings etc. but there is no superb benefit.

The solution is to have a method to replenish the grease.
Sealed for life components for get this.

ACF-50 produce a grease that 'they say' is water/salt proof.

Corrosion protection stuff.
We use a product called Denso Tape to protect bare metal off-shore. It takes a bit of time and some practice to get it on where it stays but I haven't found much else as alternative. It can be removed and replaced several times too.

Can't see any particular benefit in using Moly in a shock bearing. Marine will be fine.

I only use waterproof grease on shock linkage bearings. Not like it's going to get hot or run at high speed like a wheel bearing.
