Citroen Relay (Campervan) - Anyone Familiar?

Anyone familiar with these? A mate of mine's G/Fs has broken and I'm going to look at it tomorrow to see if I can help.

From what I can make out...they've been on tour, and a wheel bearing needed replacing. They had that done in France and then the clutch went.....they had that done, again in France, then it lost power big time. It's been suggested to him by an expert, (a real one), that a pipe, and where it enters the bell housing/Turbo body(?), has likely been broken off when the clutch was done. Apparently, there's a hidden pipe that's often missed, left connected and easily gets broken off.

What might this pipe/hose be? Oil return?

The vehicle is a 2005 Relay 1800 with a 2.2 TD engine

The vacuum pipe for the turbo is common to be knocked off causing a lack of power, you usually just put it back on and away you go!

yup..vacuum pipe as come off and bust the outlet on the actuator.
I've been trying to find a replacement, (only come with the turbo from Citroen/Peugeot), and this is the nearest I can find, it looks exactly the same as the old one. Trouble is, he doen't list the vehicle in the compatibility menu. Is it likely they'd use a different actuator on 2.2 HDI TD engines? Restriction on some maybe?

Will the bore of the inner hose be too small though? Thinking

Yeah...that's a really tight fit...I may drizzle some glue over it too, although I think it's too grubby for any to stick.
One way to find out if it works I guess.

Try some stuff call Q-bond if you can, its a powder/glue combination and is very strong/versatile.

older ones used to have problems with the front window cracking a lot

dads got through about three a year (was caused by the van flexing because of the size of the screen (but was a boxer)also had one at work that did the same

also had a reoccurring problem with a fuel pump on dads that got swapped with another at his work and then seemed ok
