upgrading to windows 10 anyone using it

got a few questions to anyone that has upgraded as to how it went and any issues
in particular has anyone used remote desktop as its a must for me
and the other issue could be drivers as I have some dedicated hardware that might have problems

next does it lock the drives like Win 8 did with the stupid protected drive
not that I can't remove that but if I want to revert to Win 7 I can just ghost it back without any hassle

lastly usability good & bad points and is it worth doing

any comments welcome (apart from the usual anti windows brigade I have no choice for some software I run but to use windows)

Windows 10 will help you out... by removing it from your system.

I have had no issues with Windows10 on any system I have upgraded.

No performance issues, no crashes. All straight forward.

Have upgraded two machine so far.

One went perfectly.

The other refreshes all the desktop icons every few seconds which makes using the Start menu a bit tricky as it closes with every refresh.

Upgraded a laptop. Not a lot of benefit to it really unless you want the directX update or are going to use it with a touchscreen. 7 is still better and more stable for a PC IMO. Only issues I've had are with openGL but probably due to drivers.

no touch screen here but I do have a lot of software for my astronomy work that has me worried
esp as you have to assign com ports etc to usb devices, think I'll stik with 7 for now
