Henry Cole. His monotone voice is unbearable.

I can cope with Charlie, he's not the most charismatic presenter, but he's OK.

Henry Cole suffers from the fact that he writes, produces and presents his own programmes, so he hasn't got enough people criticising him, they can't, he pays their wages.

My particular gripe is the difference between his 'live' persona and the boring, overmoderated twunt who does the narration; if he learned how to read naturally, I could just about tolerate him.

I read that in a Henry Cole voice and hate myself.

Henry Cole can come across as a bit negative in a lot of his "worlds greatest" shows but I still don't mind watching him as at least he tends not to worry too much about offending people which is good.

Watched Long way down/round and had no strong feelings either way about CB. Subsequently met him when he was doing the Honda Race School at the same time as me and seemed a nice chap, had a good laugh with everyone.

Boorman. Long way shows were carried by Ewan and that Swiss camera guy, Boorman could have been cut out and not missed. Same with the one where he went to Sydney the producer guy carried that show, his Tokyo one I gave up after 15 minutes because just Boorman was unwatchable.

Henry Cole is ok I think he just whines a bit too much sometimes about non-issues, as he produces the shows too he doesn't watch those bits critically and then cut them.

I knew I had responded to this. Cos I not only had to google Henry Cole, but I THEN also had to google the Boorman McGregor variation, as I can't tell them apart.

I thought I was losing my mind.
But now I see that OP is a knobber, not me.

"I had to google Henry Cole.
And I have never watched the Boorman/McGregor thing.

So I can't really make up my mind.
They are probably both equally irritating due to the simple fact of being on television."

And I still can't tell them apart Rolling Eyes

Cole, after the lies he told about going to Utah to ride on the salt on a nail of a Triumph.
1. His bike was still in the UK when he heard that the salt flats had flooded and Speed week was off. Speed week was due to start on Saturday and it rained on the Wednesday or Thursday before. You do not take a bike as hand luggage on an aircraft, my friends who were there shipped the bikes out 3 months before the event.
2. If anyone has any belief that he was going to Bonneville and was just an unfortunate victim of the weather...... As I said I had friends who were suposed to be running at Utah and they confirmed Cole was not in the program and had not entered.
People spend up to £10K to get a bike from the UK to run at Speed Week and to take advantage of the cancellation of the 2014 event for the benifit of his ego and TV is an absolute insult to those racers that devote so much time, effort and cash to get out there to live their dreams.

I don't really mind most of the stuff Boreman's made without Mcgregor.

Some of his more general travel series that aren't quite as 'BIKE ADVENTURE!!!' as the ''Long way'' ones have been quite interesting and well made I thought.
