Hi friendly people.

So - I'm after help for my wife. We're both going through the 'we want to ride' phase in our lives; I am infact nearly there (mod 2 to go next week). She however is only just embarking on this quest and unfortunately has hit a snag.

She's not a small lady, and even the largest jacket available from jts is too small for her hips and bust. Obviously long term she wants to shrink (don't we all), but we're eager to get out together as soon as spring comes. But.....without safety gear she can't even take a CBT.

So help - does anyone have any contacts or know of any bespoke gear manufacturer? Yes we know it may be pricey, but we want to investigate. I've tried google and got 2 hits, but not all places like this exist on the Internet.

Look forward to hearing from anyone.

How big are we talking? Spada brand stuff is HUGE, Ive got a 2XL jacket from them and its like a tent on me, wheras Im normally a 3 or 4 XL in most brands.

Ive also seen various unbdranded stuff on eBay etc that goes up to 12 and even 15XL Shocked

e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hivis-Armoured-Motor-Cycle-Bike-Wind-Waterproof-Cordura-Racing-Jacket-HI-VIZ-/260987765881?var=&hash=item3cc4154479:m:msMyR1W6Zx-dvcntHN1qcJQ

Theres others out there, would I trust my life to it on a track day or motorway commute? No. Would I trust it to bimble around a CBT on, yes.

We're talking 50" bust and waste and 60" hip, but only 5'2" tall. Thanks for those links - I'll have a look Smile

Get Geared do a fair bit of plus size stuff. And they have excellent customer service, with a couple of brick and mortar shops as well as online. And big is sexy! Very Happy
