I go places and do things and as a good netizen I then go onto trip Advisor and tell others about my experience.for this I receive badges and points but I have no idea what to do with them so I Googled it.. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/TripCollectiveFAQ turns out they mean absolutely nothing at all!

They appear to be as useful as gold blobs.

This is just like when my half-elf wizard hit level 20 but I still couldn't cast spells in real life. Crying or Very sad

Trigger warnings, please!

After doing a few trips in the UK this year I have also been contributing reviews and vaguely wondering what these points do, each time they sent me an email saying I had earned them.

Good to know it's nothing Thumbs Up

...still find myself wanting to earn more... Evil or Very Mad

I think it's in a similar vein to eBay feedback. You get no real benefit but it acts to give you a reputation.

Points make prizes... but not in this case. Sad

Yes, its very bloody annoying.

Even receiving discount vouchers for accommodation or food would be useful.

Seller feedback determines their "power seller" status, which (Ste?) seems to make a tangible difference to fees. Thus all the tantrums and bawwwing if you give them a well deserved negative or neutral. Whistle

I've contributed a few times to Tripadvisor with what to me were legit comments however if some prat has an unwarranted grievance against some outfit or another, a good business could be damned on a right load of vicious lies and bollocks.
