Hello everyone ^^
I'm a new driver and I'm thinking to buy a Junak EVO300.
In my country no one knows nothing about them, so I'm asking you Smile

https://www.junak.com.pl/kolekcja/motocykle/52/Junak-EVO-300-CM--.html

This is the bike I'm looking for.

Does any of you have some input about it?
Ty,
GC

What country are you from? My polish isn't all that, but I'd wager there's at least some kind of translation service, by a well known web search engine you could use.

Unless....

Does this smell like Spam to anyone?

Looks to me as very cheap low quality crap chinese bike. Here some guys discussing it:

https://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/showthread.php?7453-Motorcycle-Show-Warsaw-Poland-2015/page7

It has ancient 223 OHC air cooled engine. Any second hand 20 years old Honda CB250 will be much better then this new crap.

IMO if you want new 300cc single get KTM Duke, it will cost you twice the money and ist 10 x times better:

It says on the website they are not available yet.

They are postponing the release date of EVO models to the 2nd quarter of 2016. They say they want to properly test it to ensure its high quality and reliability. They are still working on some improvements.

EDIT: At the current exchange rate PLN/GBP they cost only £1627 Thinking

That's cheap Shocked Usual stuff I guess, reliability, parts and resale value.

From all the reliability issues reported regarding the smaller Dukes (125-390) I wouldn't exactly see them as a worry free purchase. How much are the other 300's (CBR etc.) in Poland?

Does it? The site says 300cm3 and 26.2kW (~35hp) and you've not going to get anywhere near that on the old 223. That power and weight would actually nudge it into the fun-times category.

Couldn't see any prices on the Honda site, but Yamaha's seem similar to the KTM (around a grand cheaper), so IF that's the case a CBR300 would probably be a better proposition.

With the other topic about importing bikes, I can see next years Euro Jolly being fly out to Poland, pick up a cheap bike and ride it back Smile

Thanks for the feedback.

We have a dealer in Slovenia that sells this 300ccm Junak.
Not much choice in this category here.
Maybe a known 500 will be better then.

Thanks again.
