Surely it's not the place of an "unbiased" reporting service to decide what is moronic or not or what makes good/bad policy.

Of course if a news outlet wants to push a bias, they are free to do so, just don't push it using my tax money pls.

Someone has to make a decision as to wether it's worth covering something or not.

You say it's bias, I disagree - covering such a stupid poll is a waste of tax payers money. Why waste time and effort on something that is totally idiotic rather than something that might be worth something? All that poll shows is that 442,182 people don't understand how our economy works - and that's not news.

I'm more annoyed that they covered Trump because he's a twat (and also Darth Vader).

If you dislike Trumps policies, generally you'll be wanting the Dems to win. Trump is like a right-wing Jeremy Corbyn: good entertainment value but making the Repubs unelectable. The more racist and ridiculous stuff Trump says, the stupid the Repubs look. Let's be honest he's handing the Dems an easy win.

Given the two main Dems choices are shit: Bernie looks like he's about to croak it, and Hillary is shady as fuck. Trump is the best thing that can happen to them, not because the Dems are good, but because he's making the Repubs look shit.

All the liberals can complain and act as outraged as they want, and the end of the day Trump is doing them a favour.

Of course the GOP hate him, he's a massive liability and cos he's self-funded they can't rein him in by threatening to cut party funding. He's a massive loose cannon that they loathe.

To be fair none of the top 4 are any good. It makes for great entertainment but would you want any of them running a country?

Luckily when push comes to shove the Americans are a very conservative lot, they'll elect the sanest looking candidate. After all look at Obama, a black man who barely meets the 'born an American' legal requirement, but infinitely saner than the white all-american (war hero etc.) John McCain.

The quote I've heard is along the lines of: in the hypothetical situation that Trump (who has always been friendly with the Clintons) was working for the Democrats, damaging the Republicans from the inside, would he be doing anything significantly different to what he is doing now?

The longer Trump stays in the running, the more I start to think that he might go all the way.
The obvious block is the assumption that the US public won't vote in an apparent idiot, but then they did (kinda, maybe a bit rigged) vote in George Bush.

It'll be interesting to say the least.
