All the lights on my dials and dummy lights and indicators dont work they went out as I got home. Is this just a fuse? If so where? Could the wattage of the bulbs cause it all to blow?

And does anyone know where I can buy LED bulbs? Prefferably from a shop and not the internet.

Have you not got any spare fuses in your fuse box?

Spare fuses? Fuse box?

Sorry you're talking to a mechanical retard here.

Where might a fuse box be? And what do fuses look like?

There will be a fuse box under the seat. It's usually marked 'fuse box' ( Laughing No sarcasm intended). Open it up (usually held shut with a screw) and you'll have these flat coloured plastic things (fuses). Now in the lid you'll hopfully have spares.

If not motorworld etc sell them. Car fuses, bike fuses etc are all the same. (Just differant watts for each fuse).

EDIT/ I think the fuse box will be marked on the inside for what goes where. If not you'll have to play.

You not got a Haynes or similar?

The fuses are colour coded for each type of wattage.

Maybe it's tucked down the side fairing?

I suppose it could be under the tank. Doubt it though. Who else here has the same bike as you?

Do a search for on line info for it. You'll turn up something.

The best way to find out is to simply find your local bike shops, and drop in to chat with the service guys to pick their brains. They might just have some.

Mate the fuse box is on the right hand side. Take the seat off, then undo the right hand aluminium side cover. The fuse box should be right in front of you. Most or all of the fuses are 10amp.

I had the same problem when i first got my cb-1 everything just died all of a sudden. Turned out a fuse had just worked loose. Good luck.

I HATE MY BIKE Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad !!!

Again the fuse blew (no spare left) so used one that didn't seem to be doing anything important. i.e. bike started and lights where on.
Then that one blew in minutes.

Now the bike can't go above 5krpm without sputtering and sounding a bit like crazyfrog.

Also I can feel a knocking or a ticking from the left foot peg that gets quicker as I speed up, (noticed that one of the links in the chain have seized since the scottoiler isn't working could it be that?).

And I found a screw hanging out of my new rear tyre, took it to the mechanics and asked him to plug it and also see if he could sort my scottoiler. The damage was £50 quid and a scottoiler that has been cleaned but still not fixed. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad FUCKERS!!

Major vent but I fucking hate having to spend so much money when I don't have it but also need the bike to no spend money on transport.

ahem Embarassed ... ok basically can someone tell me what the fuck is going on with my bike?

Your reg/rec is gone. Don't even bother fitting a CB-1/Blade reg/rec. I can modify NTV ones to fit which last a lot longer.

Oh it's under the left rear panel.

Is there any other way of getting the link loose???? I really really can't afford new chain and sprocks at the moment.

That would be great sickpup Thumbs Up
could get the rack at the same time.
If the chain has to be changed as well I might just think about getting the bus though and giving up on bikes for a bit.

you could try to work some engine/gearbox oil into it to free up the link.

this is what happens when people don,t bother to oil/lube there chain regulary

Remove the chain, and use copious quantities of 3 in 1 chain lube after having cleaned it with white spirit and an old toothbrush. To free a stiff link, a pair of pliers and a hammer can be useful as a last resort, though you can often work them loose just with your fingers.
