Are you still getting flooding problems with your carb???

If you get a replacement carb from Ebay or elsewhere what makes you think it will be any better than the one you have? You would be better getting a rebuild kit.

Sorry, I don't have a complete carb for sale..

I've a little crack in the body of the actual carb

From previous experiences too non genuine rebuild kits are terrible the jets in particular the sizing is way out compared to genuine, most recently i brought a new 168 jet (non genuine) for my AF1 off eBay and i had running issues and i could not for the life of me think why as everything else was pretty sound, then i found Eurocarb witch is genuine dellorto UK, got a 168 jet (genuine) from them and hey presto problem solved, I'm not saying all rebuild kits are awful because they're are several different brands but being that my past experiences with them haven't been good i just tend to steer clear of them now

When you say you don't have a complete carb does that mean you have an incomplete one? would be interested in the little bits that can be annoying to get a hold of sometimes, My needle valve seat is chewed up to point where i worry every time that i take it out it might get worse so that i won't be able to get it out at all, let me know what you have if you have anything

Yep, got the contents of a few carbs and a couple of float bowls. I will have a look in the garage at some point and see what i have.. Certainly have jet seats (is that what you mean?) slider and springs.

You might be able to seal up the carb body with epoxy

Gather what ever carb parts you have for the RXS and upload a photo if possible? I'm always interested in keeping spare parts for them just incase i need them in the future Smile
