not asking, this is how I managed it on bugger all

after a few weeks trawling ebay ended up buying a used rig with a G3258 cpu, asus H81M-E motherboard, gigabyte GT730 2GB card, aerocool cube case, 550W psu, 8gb of corsair vengeance DDR3 1600, DVD RW, Wifi card, and card reader, all for £138

basically no HDD, which I still have from my last setup and I have a legit windows 7 64

add keyboard and mouse and 250gb SSD brought me up to £200

still have steam account and BF3 & 4

thoughts?

You wont be doing much gaming with a GT730, unless you dont mind running stuff at 640 x 480.

What's your CPU clocked at as I think there the bee knees for over clocking... Think you can get them up to 4.5ghz on stock cooler.

I've just grabbed a bargain on eBay r9 280 3gb MSI 70 quid

Nvida do a gtx 750 to brand new for 75 quid lol

Good price what PSU do you have though.
Presume 770 is a 6pin plus 8pin

What size monitor do you plan gaming on

Keep an eye out for a 670.

I just sold c_dug two of them for £80, and one of those will still run anything you throw at them nigh on very high/ultra detail at 1080p.

If you want to rival at least a PS4 / XB1 in graphics, 7790 / 7870 by AMD is roughly equivalent.

Would probably run most of the games I end up playing Thumbs Up . If it'll play things like BF4 on low settings then the SSD alone will make it a better experience than console.

still at it

had to flash the bios to clock the cpu, days of trawling youtube instruction videos and reading stuff, result is stable 4.3ghz on standard cooler

next, GTX950

bloody GT730 won't run bf4, DAyZ, left for dead etc

just about manages arma2, portal and counter strike
