About 2.8k miles back I topped up my reservoir to the full line as it was only slightly down. Today I noticed the coolant was on the lower mark and saw this mess and am wondering is this a bad piece of hose probably?

The bike is a Suzuki Inazuma 250 while the rad has a fan I've only seen (can't hear it like bigger bike fans) it run once so assume being a small engine it very rarely gets hot which is why there hasn't been that much coolant loss over the miles covered. Also there's no visible leaks anywhere when I spotted this so am assuming it's under pressure only.

Anyone know for sure?

Not a chance, you're the one with it in front of you! I'd be more suspicious of the plastic neck above it than the hose, can you take it off to look for cracks? Or perhaps the cap is faulty and it's spewing out past it?

I'm going to clean up the hoses and tighten them up a little and see what happens, I can't see any cracks on the neck. Might need to get my hands on a pressure tester if it carries on after tightening.

Apologies for the double post but I thought I'd just add the solution. After browsing bike specific forums it seems like it's an assembly thing and common leak for these bikes, the upper hose just needs nipping up. The manual recommends tightening the clamps at 1.5NM which I thought was interesting too.
