Hi, does anyone have this problem and know of a fix ?

My TomTom Rider V5 (bought 2014) has a fault. A correctly reset trip log proceeds to add extra mileage to a ride. Noticed within 20 minutes usually, it suggests I've travelled 25 to 50 extra miles, often noticed because the average speed shows something that wasn't possible.

Has anyone else had this ? It's happened a few times. I've not updated any firmware, I'd have to suss out how

Do you think it could have anything to do with the device acquiring a signal, picking up a 'rough' signal, then locking on more precisely, and that difference being what's shown as extra ? Surely the programmers can't be that daft ?
