RST Blade textile trousers have kept me both warm and dry in whatever weather I've adventured out in since I purchased them. Removable inner thermal lining for summer. Pockets for hip protection but not included.

Depends what your budget is?

If bullshit was water, then there would be more than 2ft of it coming from your mouth

IXS Tromso. I've been in mine a while now, longer than ive had my licence. They had a nikwax treatment to undirty and help the outer layer shed water last year, and keep me dry. Still get cold and feel wet when it's so wet thst the outer saturates, but thats a few times a year. Quite slim fitting and my thighs are nearly to fat for them.

Unlike my HG jacket, they haven't started going fluffy. They may well last longer than every othet bit of kit.

Knee armour is repositionable, and there are pockets for hip armour.
