Hi.

Never had to do this so wondered if it's possible.

I have a dual boot with Win10 and Android but limited space on board. Has SD expansion and I have 64GB here. I 'want' 10 for android and the remainder for Win10.

Unsure if it's possible...? Probably is and I'm being a cabbage.

You're going to run an OS off a sd card? I thought they had a read/write limit.

No, OS is run from internal storage, this is purely additional storage for data.

There was a tool with puppy linux which allowed you to format a bootable SSD to look like an FDD, HDD and DVD similtaneously. So even on horrifically restrictive bios that had no USB boot facility, you could get it to boot from floppy.

Which goes to show anything is possible in that respect.

I'm going to attempt tomorrow.

Why not get a 2nd SD? Because I want the apps to continue running when I load the other OS. Running 2 cards will cause it to stop.

Will let you repartition your SD card, flash drive etc etc. This is a live CD so download it burn it and boot the cd

You can use a USB instead of a CD/DVD. That's what I do when installing ubuntu, for example, from the Live CD.
