Standard pissed up early post. Just do it!

Place spills here.

Rules:
1. Give it a *consecutive* number;
2. Brief details;
2a. New addition: Complete poll
3. Open your own thread to discuss, display artistic talents via Paint.

So if you don't put it here, Shocked it never happened Shocked - no matter how many posts/views you get on your own thread about it. Nobody really cares enough to bother to collect your stats from other threads.

4. If you die, don't put it here. Open your own post-mortality thread for the relative sympathy. Gory pics welcome but must include NSFW tag.

Please don't die this year!!!!

Go go go go go...

#1 - wr6133 rekt ZZR400, slide.
#2 - Kidjal rekt Street Triple, slide.

I know it might be a bit more extra work on Paddy's part (Since he started the thread) but when a new one is put in the thread - can you add it to the OP with a link to the post??

Example

#1 AnPhonEh - Crashed into a bus shelter full of people.

Initially thought I lost it on Ice, however on checking the bike my rear shock is totally bottomed out and not offering any rebound/dampening. Can't see how that would happen during the slide so not sure if it shit out while riding.

Poor obs, shit riding, slack chain and twisted subframe.

Shite internet right now those 15 seconds took 2 1/2 hours to upload, I'll get a longer one up when I can.

The lever picture should silence all those that think cheap Chinese pazzo clones will disintegrate if lightly slapped

The first (van) that passed just fecked off. After that a lot of people did stop, a few guys helped me get it off the road and a friendly pensioner gave me his warning triangle to mark the oil spill while I phoned it in.

Bad luck sir. Road surface looks unusually reasonable considering it's next to a field.....then I saw the OCD ploughing lines, which might explain it.

Would knackered needle bearings cause a rear shock to lock?

Good gear did it's job, sore and a bit bruised, think I've cracked a rib. Seems my penthouse in Hell will remain unoccupied a little longer.

It was resurfaced a year or so back and is the local drag strip.

Just recovered the bike and the shock is completely stuck bottomed out. Will provide details when I get round to tearing it apart.

I add myself in shame. Back wheel skipped out, wobbled everything out, lost it and slid the rest of the way into a corner. More embrassing than dangerous.

OK OK... #2

https://cdn.bikechatforums.com/files/masterpeice.jpg

Back wheel slipped out on something, couldn't find any diesel or anything maybe ice. Wobbled pretty violently and then dumped me off, landed on my ankle under the bike which now hurts like fook and slid with it into the gutter. Bike flipped up and over onto the grass.

Instrument/headlight support sheared off, presumably hitting the kerb.

Came off on ice doing about 8mph coming into work and slid across the road.

This is a private road owned by Eric Wright, apparently i may be able to claim off their insurance.
