Sorry, can't keep a straight face any longer.

Actually I had meant to post this to a different section of the form but possibly because this is my first post here, I got it wrong.

Thank you so much for all of your helpful comments and it's so good to see that the fraternity of bikers is still as friendly and helpful to fellow bikers as I knew way back in my youth.

Actually I am off elsewhere to find some proper bikers. The only crybabies here are people who can't understand that someone has made a genuine mistake. I doubt whether anybody would answer this question even if it was in the 'correct' forum.

Funny how the other poster who made a similar mistake around the same time just said "sorry", laughed it off and re-posted in the Workshop section.

Doctordub - I don't think there's an answer to your question anywhere on the web, so I would try the same technique as for other Schuberth models - i.e. rotate the sun visor to its lowest position, grasp it firmly with thumb and forefinger as near to the hinge as possible, then pull slowly and very firmly away from the hinge.

You could also email Schuberth customer services. I got a very helpful reply from them recently on another matter, even though it was to do with a discontinued model. The guy who helped me is Michael Männel, email Kundenservice@schuberth.de.

P.S. As for the twatty replies, I'm afraid it goes with the territory. But there really aren't any better forums. You need to just not give a fuck. Which is a handy attitude for bikers in pretty much everything.
