If you could fill this in honestly it would be amazing. Thumbs Up (It's only about 6 questions)

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5FF2882

Just need to gauge why people why the bike parts they do and from where. It's for a potential business opportunity. It's about power parts. i.e. rearsets, levers, power commanders, exhausts etc.

what are 'power parts' exactly?

It seems like a knob name for modification parts? performance parts?
I know what those two are, but not power parts.

I buy oil filters, spark plugs, air filters, fuel, tyres, brake pads, oil and brake fluid and any other parts that break or wear out to keep the bike moving.

I have bought a shock as the old one was getting kind of dead...

Done.

Quite why some cuntspunkers have marked a survey as spam, I'm not sure. Especially given that he's been here for over 10 years.

I would do it but some of the questions are a tad strange and not applicable to someone who's been tinkering for 30+ years but not owned a bike for 4 months.

Surely most people do those kind of mods soon after they buy their bike and then add on overtime according to the depths of their wallet? Which would make question #1 redundant.

I will however add my Penny Coin Penny Coin and say that I'd peruse Demontweaks but usually buy that kind of thing from my local dealer because:
1) I knew that he wouldn't sell me shit quality (Qu. #2 answer)
2) The owner and his staff were a knowledgeable bunch and great for tapping into for ideas/solutions (Qu. #4 answer)
3) Maybe not as cheap as a website (although I did get very favourable discounted rates Smile ) but I consider that an acceptable trade off against risking buying crap from an internet site that may or may not fit and may or may not eventually turn up on the doorstep in whatever condition your courier sees fit.

Presumably tyres factor as 'power parts', what about performance oils, K&N parts, etc? Which, using the last five years as a reference point, would put me in the £401 - £999 category, as a male 47 year old running a zzr1100 (#'s 5,6,7 & 8 answered Wink ).

Whether you want to skew your results by inputting that data is up to you - considering that I currently don't own a bike and live on the wrong side of the pond to be of any future benefit to your enterprise. Best of luck with whatever it turns out to be.
