I'm new to the world of the Pi but have plans to take it on my travels this year. At the moment I have three cards, Raspbian, OSMC and Retropie. I'd like to put them all on one card to make it a bit easier. I'm considering Berryboot to do the job but I think I have to make my own squash images to ensure that the current setups are maintained.
My question is, is there a better way? Would I be better off just installing something like Emulationstation and Kodi under Raspbian and setting them back up the way I want?
Other options? ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |

Cheers matey!
I have to admit to getting lost when I got to "SSH into your osmc installation."
I'll have a read and work it out. Brings back memories, I haven't used linux for at least 10 years. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |

Use putty to ssh in.
Check out the OSMC wiki, they've put a fair bit of work into it.

Such a great little thing they are.
Got a pi 2 for xmas which I'm planning to build into a dvr/cctv system but I'm having real issues. Thought I could use motionpie which would have been fine but it doesn't support rtsp which is why, I'm presuming, it doesn't support my IP caneras.
Kinda pointless if I have to plug them in via usb or gpio
My 1st one is happily running osmc with all my media on. Great little gadget, heh ____________________ CBR954RR - Daily toy

Slightly off topic but I've just dug out my old P1b and installed noobs and kodi.....kodi deffo seems to run a lot better than the older xbmc versions but I'd still like to speed it up....is the pi2b going to speed it up a lot as for the dosh its worth upgrading. Also bought one of those esy-kb04 wireless mini keyboard/touchpads for it today and glad to say it works with no driver downloads etc ____________________ Current bikes...cbr929, KDX200's, Rd125lc mk2, RGV250's |

I can't contribute to the question in the thread, but I'm currently setting my Pi2 up to use as an I/O for an IP-based remote control beer-grabbing robot tank... ____________________ C50 > GN250 > XJ600 > SV650S K7 > 2001 RSV Mille R > MT-09, XR400R > 2005 Fireblade (trackbike) + 2022 MT-09 + ZXR400 race bike |
