Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, unfortunate that they are registered blind.

Is that a Vauxhall Calibra? They were pretty chavvy even before anyone stuck a plastic body kit onto one.

That's pretty grim, but if you've got a spare hour and can resist the temptation to gouge your eyes out with a rusty spoon, have a wander through here

How you persuade RAC or AA to tow it that far?

"CARLSBERG CALIBRA FUN CAR FOR SALE,

This was built to go to the 24hr le mans race and back for fun, and covered over a thousand miles towing a trailer without any trouble, we had loads of fun in it and where ever we went it drew loads of attention. i also used it to take my lad to his prom with his mates which also atracted more attention than some of the limo's plus a few people asked if they could book it for theres.

Would make ideal promotional/advertising car or just a great summer fun car.

Started out as a vauxhall calibra hatchback, then we removed the roof reinforced the sills, crossbraced the rear end and refitted the rear of the hatch as a boot lid. Then we widened the body by about 6" all steel and welded. Then useing various different bumpers redesigned the front and rear bumper,( leave you to guess what the panels and bumpers are off that went in to making this car).

The car was painted at a mates garage in a spray bake oven in white and st focus green using the latest water based paints ,so could easerly be matched if altered to suit someone elses needs,,

Wheels are Kosei R-Tune Racer 17" 5 spoke fully refurbished, Rear tyres are 235-50-17 and Front are 215-40-17 and are spaced with 30mm spacers on front and 45mm on rear . Front tyres are new, rear are about 4 to 5mm.

The roof is made from genuine vynl roof material which is easerly press studed on and off and is fully waterproof, and can easerly be stored in boot.

The usual leather calibra interior with colour coded headrests gear gaitor and handbrake cover, the driver seat has a bit of wear on one edge, but overall very good clean interior, plus it has colour changing interior lights.

There is also a bit of a sound system in it CD mp3 player plus sony explode speakers in doors and rear panels ,plus jvc and pioneer 6" x 9" speakers in shelf powered by a 240w amp, plus a 12" sub in boot powered by a 300w amp .

There are a couple of green neon lights under the sills plus strobe lights under the front bumper for an added bit of fun at night, on a seperate switch to keep it legal.......

I could bore you to death talking about the car all day as we had so much fun in the car, but if you would like to no anythink else about the car you can contact me DAVE on 07780 900000 anytime.

""CAUTION""

IF YOU DONT LIKE TALKING TO STRANGERS OR PHOTO TAKING THIS CAR MAY NOT BE FOR YOU.."

Quality. At least it was done in jest and they aren't serious, unlike some.
