Own host name to YouTube channel?

I have my own domain name and a private YouTube channel, is it possible to setup something like this

YouTube.domainname.com that points to my YouTube channel url?

I use 123-reg if that helps.

I don't want to redirect all traffic/web traffic to this url, and I have existing dons entries for google apps (gmail with own domain)

If you need anything else to help answer please let me know.

create a subdomain and setup a forwarder to youtube.com/channelnameissmeghead

Balls, I'd just found that option in the settings and its £10 a year.

Anyway to do domainname.com/YouTube for free?

Don't want to pay out anything cos I'm a cheapskate.

What kind of host is it that you have?

If it's an Apache host, you can use a HTACCESS file to redirect to YouTube. They would then leave your site.

If you want to retain on your site, you could use an iframe that points to your channel. Makes it awkward to bookmark things for the user though.

I will setup the redirect and give you ftp access to the subdomain then you can upload your files etc.

That's pretty cool.

Despite Cansa's kind offer at the moment I've directed the whole domain to the YouTube channel.

Until I need more than a YouTube link it'll do, probably over thinning things, I normally do.
