Just wondered if anyone on here knows the following before i ring the DVLA tomorrow.

I know a CBT lasts 2 years, however i passed my full car test a few months back and it seems the CBT has been put on my licence as a code "122" and without a date. Does this mean i can carry on riding my 125 without doing another CBT soon or what?

Cheers
Jason

Still expires as far as I know, my car licence had no effect on my CBT validity.

Full car licence counts as a bike provisional licence. Regardless of your provisional licence type you have to have a valid CBT certificate to ride a bike.
Now your car test is done you might aswell do your bike test Wink

Code 122, is intended for to validate your full entitlement on a moped.

You need to renew your CBT to ride your 125.

Sorry to keep nitpicking, just I thought I should point out that this part is no longer correct, now being changed to keeping the CBT for two years and not losing it for a year if you don't get the full licence in the three years.

if I were you i'd stop worrying how long you've got left on your cbt and try and get your test done asap. there are new rules coming into place to say the direct access is being scrapped in the near future ans also that all tests bike and car will become longer (at least two hours) and more complex. I have no idea when it all comes into place but when my friend passed her test a few months ago her instructor was telling her about it. all this aside summers on it's way so no matter what you do enjoy it.
good luck Sun

you should have no problem at all doing it in the time you've got. just make sure when you book your lessons you go somewhere decent.
you can also get crash (not literally) that takes 3-5 days and they will put you in for your test.
