What are peoples thoughts on these bikes opionsplease looking at the 750 always loved aprilia from my days screaming round on an rs, looking at a few on ebay and think they look stunning

your research so far hasn't covered spelling it correctly.

but i would look into possible expesive service and dealers not being able to get parts

I'm currently looking at them.

Second hand they're not particularly good value - you can pick up a new bike for 6400 and there's 4 year old bikes selling for just a grand less than that

80 miles til the fuel light and no wind protection means they're a bit of a headache. They're well specced, nimble and relatively comfortable for a supermoto as plus points.

I've ridden a Shiver before and TBH the engine was a bit lacking for me. Not enough up top. With that said a Shiver is heavier and slightly more practicality biased.

There's a number of both models (same engine) been up for sale recently with engine related problems that dealers don't seem to be able to sort - so I'm not led to believe they're particularly reliable

Im racked off tbh pal iv been back and fourth with a seller on an auction site about his its cheaper than most but has problems with error codes spoke with local aprilia dealers and got a rough price which i thought yeah ok not to bad, just got reg ran a hpi come back cat c total loss. Owner is saying yeah dont matter on bikes its fine. I no its not a major my wifes car is a cat d after i bought it back after her crash non fault by the way lol. But to hide it till i say ok ill arrange collection is a little naughty

If its the one on the Bay of E, at £3k, It looks remarkably clean.

However, I'd definitely want to look at it in the flesh and make sure its still straight and true.

Any seller who can't put together an ad in decent English however ......... I'd be wary at the very least .....

I'd walk away, personally. It's not the kind of bike you want to go buying for strong money, on anything other than strong history - it's not 125 money.

I have just run an insurance quote for one - my bike insurance is due today, and it's £160 to renew my 1050 Sprint. Give a guess how much a Dorsoduro is for me?
