Visor Opinions?

What do you guys think are appropriate visors to have?

Dark tint? Half tint? Mirrored? Clear?

I have the option of a free one and I'm thinking half tint would be the most useful...

Clear and use a tinted pinlock. Then if you do get caught out after dark you can just pull out the pinlock.

I use a clear and a dark tint, depending on conditions.
Sunny day, go out with the tint on, clear in the tailpack if it's likely to be dark before getting to my destination.
Dull day, clear only.

I find light tints not very effective on a day when I think I'll need tinted.

Helmet has a clear visor with clear pinlock and a dark tinted sunvisor...Got all bases covered.

Probably clear, but I do likes a bit of yellow tint. It makes everything look like daffodils and springtime.

Black light smoked can safely be used at night save fucking around changing it. Also black looks cool as fuck and makes women in supermarket car parks want to sleep with you.

I like an iridium like it's 1999 but unless the sun is low I'll wear the clear visor and carry the flashy one. Reduces dazzle without making the world grey, I reckon. Iridium also makes drivers notice and move over. Seriously.

I just have a clear visor and in bright sunlight wear sun glasses.

Black/80% tint in 24/7. Don't have space for a clear visor.

So far clear with appropriate lenses in my cycling glasses. I could get a number of visors but it's easier to carry my stack of 7 lens sets for those than a single visor

I have tinted rainbow iridium in summer and clear in winter because I do a lot of riding in the dark with shit headlights, many potholes and no street lights.

Maybe tinted yellow would be ok for winter if you didn't want clear.

Buy sun glasses if you feel the need to protect your eyes from the very natural UV light.

Clear + clear pinlock in winter coz night time all the goddamn time and face gets too cold too quick to even open it a crack. Multicoloured fag one in summer because it looks the bomb

Used to be tinted visor and clear visor at night, then I discovered visor sun strips and never need to change my clear one now (no quick release on the current lid anyway).

Tints look good and they make the world look less scary somehow but they only really work during summer months, and even then when it was raining or even on tree lined roads it was pretty $hit.

Mirror iridium for me, Never been pulled for it, ever, I do carry a clear one for the darkness though.
Got caught out once, in Cyprus, went to the bike club straight from work, it was dark when I left, I could barely see on the roads with street lighting, once I got out in the sticks I couldn't see a bleedin' thing.
I had to go visorless for the last 8 miles, all I will say is there are a helluva lot of insects flying round Cyprus at night!!!!!

At the moment clear beacause it's either overcast or dark when ever I'm on the bike but one spring rears its head the dark smoke will be going back on
