ER6F TAIL TIDY

need some help I got a er6f 08 plate went to put a tail tidy on it yesterday the wires for the indicators are fine but for the plate light its just red and black wires with the kit came some round connectors but the connector on the bike is a small square one will I need to cut this off and change them to the round ones thanks for any help

It'd just cut the wires and solder them together, with some heat shrink insulation sleeving.

You'll likely have crimps or similar with it yes you will have to cut your loom.

I wouldn't solder incase you need to take it apart at some point. Buy a proper crimping tool to do it don't t just use pliers. It is also worth using self amalgamating tape to waterproof them.

Did it not come with a wiring adapter - block connector one end and bullets the other? The R&G one I last fitted had 3 different ones in the box to choose from.

thanks for the help guys I didn't want to cut the loom but that's what I had to do a 10 min job no problems the bike looks a lot better now
