Which Power Tool?

Following on from Dodsi's "Which Drill?" thread, I've got several door frames to repaint, what's a good power tool for sanding all the nooks and crannies? I've always used sanding blocks in the past but was wondering if there's something that's come out recently that may be easier.

Not sure I need to strip all the paint, just smooth it down for a fresh coat. Maybe I should Thinking

Ahh! 'Just remembered I've got one of those small triangular shaped sanders somewhere, that'll probably do for the mouldings Cool

I bought a tesco detail sander for about 8 quid 7 years ago. Still going strong. I cut down larger pre velcro'd sandpaper sheets to
size for new sandpaper pieces.

I think I paid about £3 for the Mckellar one off eBay...and collected it locally.

I guess you spend years collecting tools...using them once or twice then burrying them and you sometimes forget what you've got. I must have decorated a street full of rooms in my 20's and 30's but I havn't done anything like that for over 15 years....at least. Can't say I've missed it much either.

There still may be something better/easier/quicker out there...I live in hope.
