I reckon that if it commences at 00:00 on the 7th it means the second the clock ticks over from 23:59 on the 6th to 00:00hrs on the 7th, because if its 00:00 the following night it would be the 8th.

Would I fancy arguing the toss over it with Plod at the side of the road in the wee hours of the morning? Not really. Mr. Green

You're insured, now get going, you're bike isn't going to crash into that wall by itself you know.

In one of your chosen professions knowing the answer is a very basic requirement.

Basics being that the day starts at 00:00:00 and ends at 23:59:59 to keep things simple.
