This story was covered over the weekend. A man "brushed" past a "famous" actress in a crowded Waterloo Station. She claimed penetrative assault (through several layers of clothing) but could not identify her assailant. There was CCTV footage of them in the same vicinity at the same time.

Man Acquitted

It has emerged today that the prosecution manipulated the CCTV footage to make it look as though the accused had had time to fiddle with her.

Lawyers Fiddling

Apart from the clear ineptitude of the CPS and the question of why this ever went to prosecution is the anonymity a granted to this clearly delusional woman. It is easy to find out who she is, and you won't have heard of her even though she is described as famous.

Surely she should be formally exposed and prosecuted for perjury and the CPS given a bollocking?

So much is wrong with this case.

"Instead of one frame per second it was running at two frames per second."

So, they sped it up then?

I mean, do people even think about what they are saying?

Noticed that too, but I suspect they mean that originally it was running at 2 frames a second and the CPSprosecution tampered with the evidence to make it 1 frame a second.

Could just be poor reporting as to what was said.

It (now) reads, "Instead of one frame per second it was running at one frame every two seconds."

So, 0.5 fps.

I suspect that the lady actor has hit a low point in her career and feels that a little exposure at the expense of an innocent bloke's reputation and mental health is fair and justifiable in her world. Expect 'revelations' in trashy magazines sometime soon, plus an appearance on Celebrity Come Wanking, or some such...

Highly unlikely that it was filmed at 1fps, that's stop motion comedy footage!
According to this document:-

Tubecamspecs

it would be medium or high quality, if it was a monitored camera, ie someone watching it live, it would be filming at 12.5 fps!
If played back at 1fps it would take 12.5s to view 1s!

According to an article in the Torygraph, when the woman saw the cctv played back for the first time, in court, she didn't believe it was her, FFS!
In the same article it says she had just returned from a Yoga class, so she followed through with an explosive fart and needed someone to blame!
Should be named, shamed and prosecuted AFAIC!

Something's definitely wrong with the timing here.

How did it take 90 minutes for the jury to decide to acquit?

Next time, fewer biscuits in the jury room.

By the way:

Daily Fail wrote:

Brick Wall

Funnily enough, I could draw an arrow at the complainant, but it might make Korn a target, so best keep that bolt unshot.

Unanimous verdict required. And there's always one idiot who thinks they're in 12 Angry Men.

Err, told you!

Oh yes, 90 minutes to acquit, obviously it took them 89 minutes to stop laughing.

The Streisand effect strikes again!

Not famous for, habitually, playing a lawyer!
Her sense of self importance and her inability to separate fact from fiction have, obviously, gone to her, oversized, head! Rolling Eyes

As much as I'm loathe to say this, thank fuck for CCTV. If this delusional attention whore had made the same allegation elsewhere, without suitable coverage, then the bloke could have had his life destroyed by the bitch.

This part of the story rings true and the assailant was very wise to assault her using the newspaper in his left hand - one good stare from this sou and I reckon hell would freeze over, God only knows what might happen if you were daft enough to make skin contact. Shocked

That was used to "identify" him in the first place, by pinning down the time that he used his Oyster card.

What baffles me is why Dibble even took it on once they'd seen the CCTV. I'm guessing some fast track Gender Studies graduate trying to climb the greasy pole by making a name for her/him/its self.

I wonder what real crimes didn't get investigated or prosecuted while Plodforce and the CPS threw clowns at this circus.

It's encouraging that they can be resourceful enough to work out how to track the guy down. And equally infuriating that you know full well they won't fucking bother for anything other than a made up sex racer hater crime
