OMV Access

As not a complete luddite but neither a network engineer, how would I go about setting up my NAS running OMV for remote access / streaming?

At present it's hooked up on a permanent gigabit ethernet connection but I have a feeling my sky hub will not have the functionality to do what I need.

Guessing I got some reading / searching to do

What will it be streaming to?
What kind of remote access do you want?
internal network or while you are out the house?

Access and streaming to laptop or mobile using mobile data external to home network.

Found some info but at work now so can't tiffle till tomorrow.

Check out the OwnCloud plugin

For local network streaming i use NFS.

Plex is a good start imo, OMV has a server plugin for it.
