Todays wind and rain has torn my Oxford cover to bits!

What are the best covers out there? Preferably rain and storm proof.

Whatever the Lidl cover's called. Bought one 3 years ago and then another as a spare, still not had to open the spare...

Oxford Stormex, had it about 8 years and its still going strong keeping my bike dry in all weather conditions.

+1 Argos jobby has been good for me too. Not waterproof or anything but keeps the worst of the elements off the bike.

I spotted that people on US forums are using BBQ covers. They seem to do the same job but with features like waterproof vents, velcro straps to tighten around the middle, plus they're made with much stronger fabric, similar to what you get on textile jackets.

Trouble is we don't have the big 'ranges' the yanks have so the widest I could find was 190cm, a bit short for big bikes but would fit 125s comfortably.

Got a crappy cover from ebay 5 years ago for £5. It's too small for my bike, so allows air to whip around underneath reducing moisture buildup and is less likely to blow over as it has lower surface area.

I have one of these for a couple of years, was perfect until neighbour's cat starting sitting on it and pushing it's claws through. Even with that, only the seat gets damp.

Being slightly on topic, I do pop a Dust Off cover over her - highly recommended for in the garage if you are looking for something for inside.
