Hi All

Bit of an odd question I know, but I've found a bike lift table, that's just about the right size, is a scissor lift and a decent price. Only drawback is, it's on sale in Holland, apparently there is a UK agent, but as yet I've not had a reply from them.

This is the lift

https://www.w-equipment.com/ads/details/173102/mammuth-ml45kh.html

So, unless I hear back from the UK agent, if you are going to Holland, and ideally, coming back to the midlands, and able to transport the lift back, please get in touch, hopefully we can arrange something.

Cheers

Tony

I have one of these. I prefer it to a scissor lift because there isn't any sliding foot, everything is pivoted.

More expensive though but how much vat will be added to that price.

There are a couple on cheaper, plus they have free postage, brand new, uk based for warranty etc...

Hi

I've looked at the sealey, and the platform is too small, and the Mummath has a much better wheel chock/guide whatever you call it. The closest sealey to what I'd need is the MC454 which is appreciably more expensive, and if anything, the platform is a little too long !!!

And yes I know about the foxhunter, and similar, however, I want a scissor lift as it's more compact, and will fit better, again, this is where the mummath is ideal

Cheers

Hi

Rogerburg, yeah I saw that, that's what got me looking for the Mammuth lifts, that one, the platform is too short by about 15cm, It's also noticably narrower. I did try contacting that seller through ebay yesterday, to see if they had or could get any of the ML45KH's, no reply. However, the UK suppliers have been in touch today, and will be getting back to me with a price including delivery.

So, hopefully, based on the dutch pricing, it shouldn't be overly expensive. Essentially, the ML45KH is the perfect size for what I'm looking for, that's why I'm so keen on it.

Cheers

Tony

I just moved to Groningen in the Netherlands (close to Assen) and have my bike being collected by a courier (van) to be taken back to Scotland on the 29th February. He makes regular trips between Edinburgh to Italy via England. He may be able to accomodate your requirements, PM me if you want his details.

Hi there

Thanks for the offer, I may well take you up on the offer, I'll give the UK distributor until Monday to come back with a price, if I've heard nothing back by then, yes I'd like the details.

out of interest, how much is he charging to take your bike back to Scotland?

Cheers

Hi

That indeed isn't a bad price, but that sort of cost, really makes getting the bike lift from the Netherlands not cost effective Sad

Cheers

Hi OK

Bit of an update, UK distributor www.ipsinc.eu who are also www.falconpower.co.uk

They won't have the ML45KH in stock for about a month, probably just about to be shipped, now that CNY is over.

As for delivery, direct from Holland 250 euros + cost of lift, and from the UK £100 + cost of lift, although, you can also pick up in person.

I will update this post as and when I have anything else to add Smile

Cheers

Tony
