i have got a suzuki gsx 750 y 2001 and i am having trouble with the carbs and petrol flowing straight through into the air box and destroying the air filter has any one ever took the crbs off before or has any one got any advise

Check the cam chain tensioner/ timing

Thanks for the advice matrs but the user manual u put up was for a gsxr 750 i got a 750y air cooled
Pluse where is the best place to get parts from like forlk seals and gaskets.

Wemoto are good , try not to get after market for the CCT though, OE is best, can always buy Gasket paper to make you own , it`s a lot cheaper probably be videos on You Tube how to do it. Will have a look thro my manuals see if ive got one for air cooled

Sorry matey was looking at gsxr750 instead of gsx750 , put it down to my age and glasses, will look thro for an air cooled gsx750 manual

How hard is it to get the carbs off without dripping the engin out of the frame

Undo the airbox and engine side rubbers/boots and you can wiggle the carburettors out.

Replace all the float valve needles, check the floats arent sticking or damaged and give it all a good clean.

where can i get carb gaskets to the engin from i dont want to take them off and find i need new ones with out having them to hand i keep coming up with gsxr not y or other places dont have them please help
