I'm running Bridgestone BT021's. They're OK, no major complaints. They're great in the dry, wet is quite good once they're warmed up. They take a while to warm up though. I've got about 2000 miles on them and it's only just now the squaring is starting to be quite noticable.

Rear (190/50): Bridgestone BT 014
Front (120/70): Pireli Diablo Strada

The reason is, the ''Superbike'' needs 1 fresh rear tyre every season. The front tyre can handle 2 seasons. Too much throttle not enough braking, I guess. I don't always buy the same tyres, the actual pricing is what makes the decision.

I've never experienced a problem. It might be due to the sizes of the tyres and lack of chinese manufacturers at this area. Thumbs Up

PR2s on both the Fazer and the Striple. Not sure if they'll really suit the Triumph, but I've always like them on the Fazer. I'll see how I go with them. Seem ok so far. Main thing is, they're cheap Laughing

Mitas MC35 extra-soft front/soft rear the latest ones, but not tried them yet.

The Sava MC29s on the other bike seem to be lacking in grip on cold worn tarmac, but others with similar tyres seem to have a bit more leeway than me, so mine may have had a few too many t

Conti road attack's which are shocking in the wet. So little overall grip and many slides... makes it interesting though.

Rear PR2 160/60 on the rear and it's excellent tyre especially for the price

Front Dunlop d207 110/70 terrible vague and only provides feedback on the dryest of dry roads but I recently leaned they stopped making them in 2004ish so that could explain it and it will be gone in a few weeks

Conti GO on the CBF125, owners group all slag them, seem okay to me.

Maxxis IT on the CRF250, better in most conditions than AC10s except sloggy wet mud

PR4s on the Multistrada just now.

Quite like them but feel like they're more rigid than the PR3. They seem to be able to handle the full power of the Multistrada when cold and they have done admirably in the snow too. They haven't started to flatten in the middle either, and that's with winter commute riding. Can't fault them at all.

They are indeed shit, they don't have the nickname "heart attacks" for no reason.

PR3's on the Triple. Feel nice and grippy in the wet and the very small slides I've had on them have felt uneventful, ie it didn't suddenly snap sideways making me poo myself.

Pilot Power 2CT on the ZX6R - really nice tyres with outstanding grip in the dry, don't believe the hype about them not working in the wet. I had them on my ZX7R too and they were more than a match for me and the bike on track days.

Avon Storm Ultra 2 on the ZX12R - restricted choice due to the 200 rear but these have been good in the wet and seem to be lasting really well. It's up for new tyres soon and I will consider these again.

Pilot Road 2 rear & Pilot Sport front on the Bandit - just gets whatever and gets ridden. Hard to say how good any tyres are with the "interesting" handling of a B12.

Run BT023s on the Divvy, do me fine and get about 10K on the rear, 15K on the front. When I got the bike it had a BT021 on the front, which gave a very "interesting" wear characteristic; the centre compound was much to hard compared to the sides, so it ended up pyramid shaped with commensurate challenging handling.

The Bandit has Conti Attacks on it, they'll probably get changed for BT023s soon - the rear can be a bit skittish.

I am on the lookout for something to put on Mrs Bamt's Virago 250 - tubed 130/90x15 (IIRC) and 3x18. That's currently running on original style nylon things. It's not going to eat tyres due to weight or power, it's not going to do massive mileage, so I want something towards the wet weather grip side of the scale rather than the hard wearing side.

BT023's on the Fazer, now on my second set and can't complain. I'm getting about 10,000 miles out of them.

Pilot Power's front and rear.

Had them on the last 4/5 bikes I've had, really cant fault them. Warm up quick, they're good in the wet and stick like shit to a warm blanket once they're hot.

The originals? I was considering these again as at £140 a pair they are well proven but fancy the corsas I think. We will have to get out again Thumbs Up

Nankang Roadiac WF-1s on the TRX, hard yet grippy rubber that doesn't seem to be wearing very well. The carcasses were also very stiff until at least 1000 miles were on them, then they seemed to soften up - I wonder if Nankang put loads of rubber on to try and make them last longer? Fine dry grip, no problems in the wet if used with a modicum of caution. The rear did start to melt on Belgian motorway though, no idea why but it has negatively affected the life of the tyre.

Currently running a GoldenTyre GT201 on the rear of the CB250, it's not very grippy though far from deadly and it has soft sidewalls so for the first time in my ownership that bike is now upset by white lines and road imperfections. Wear rate appears to be agreeable though, should last a long time.

Everything else is running boring/normal tyres..

I've got T30's on my Fireblade. Decent tyre, wet or dry, and looks like they give more life than the superb S20's that I've run previously.

My FJR1300 is currently running on Contimotions - the cheapest tyres that I can find. No matter what tyres I use on the FJR, and I have tried most of the "premium" tyres, I get truly dismal life. I think this is mainly down to the grippy but highly abrasive road surfaces in my part of Scotland. I fitted Pirelli Angel GT's prior to our last Europe trip and got over 5K - a lot of mountain passes, 2 up and fully loaded in the Alps and Pyrenees plus a blast through Germany on Autobahns. I replaced them with the same when I got back and on roads in Northern Scotland got not much more than 2K.

The Contimotions are little more than 1/2 the price of the Pirellis offer superb grip in all conditions and deliver close to the mileage of the super fuckin dooper Pirellis that are apparently the best things since sliced bread. Don't believe all the bullshit pedalled by the bike mags and the tyre companies.

On the FJR I've had BT023's, Metzeler Z8's, Pilot Powers, PR3's and the Pirellis. With the exception of the PR3's which I found to be shite (squared off very quickly), they are all competent tyres that gave no cause for concern but they did nothing that the Continentals didn't!

I've just ordered another pair of Contimotions at £122 delivered to my door. Pirellis are way over £220!
