Hi there,

I'm new to this so if this is placed in the wrong section please let me know.

I've just bought my first bike, a yamaha ybr125 2005. Everything is running so I'm pretty happy. The only job to sort is the broken front fairing and headlight but I don't think it's original (well I'm 99% sure it isn't!).

Is there anyone that can identify what I've got? And also anyone have ideas how to fix e.g. whether to repair back to the original round headlight or try find a square.

Thank you for your help in advance.

That was standard fitment on the import YBRs, while the official UK bikes had the round headlight.

Yep, thats a genuine ybr part, but AFAIK you never see it on uk models. Brooks Barn can sometimes get hold of them ... give them a ring.

Thanks McJamweasel and Evil Hans for your help and the link to the fairing on Brooks Barn. I'll call them up and see what they have. Otherwise I may just restore it to the original circular headlight.

Looks pretty cool. If it was me I would keep it as it makes the bike look a lot different.
