You'll get a set of A & B - the pic is there to help reassure you that you're looking at the correct item.

When you take the old pads out you'll see which goes where in the calliper.

I think he means are they handed for left and right front disks. Going by the outline image they are, so you'll have to specify LH or RH, or just replace both sets. Changing them all is advised. Keep any old pads which have some life left in case you wear one to the metal one day and need an emergency replacement while you order more.

SBS Street Excel are good pads.

If you look on the SBS website they list a 704 HS for the right and a 705 HS for the left. You would need a pair like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-GSF600-S-SK1-Bandit-2001-SBS-FRONT-BRAKE-PADS-Street-SINTER-704-5HS-/151394285180?hash=item233fcd767c:g:qRIAAOxyeR9TKIif

I think SV650s are the same setup.

My K2 feels very sure footed and confidence inspiring for the most part, but it could use a bit more bite to the brakes. Considing the sbs street excels linked above.
