A classic British scene. Why do people with expensive cars use them to stop naughty boys on offroad bikes? What could possibly go wrong? I wish there was some audio on this vid, it would make for a luvly episode of Eastenders.

My fault, I typed Deptford then corrected it after Gr666 had posted. Makes no difference really - Dartford is so London that you don't really notice. That whole corner of Kent might as well be Lewisham.

To be fair I thought it said Deptford, because no glasses.
I did think there was something wrong with my monitor because the people in the clip didn't suggest the Deptford
I remember. In any case still shit, still should be embarrassed. My sister lives close to Dartford. Rather her than me.
I do think of anything more or less within the M25 as London though.

Good one, "I had to wreck him before he injured himself." Rolling Eyes

Daft enough do it with a visible plate, so will be prosecuted for at least careless driving and public order offences in 3.. 2...

No consequences for the ferals, salt of the earth.

This is why the rozzers don't get involved in chav chasing.

No insurance, no tax, unregistered bike, riding like a dick (if you notice he went over the roundabout at the beginning), no helmet or any other protection.

He needs running over with an artic not a merc.

That piece of road joins Slade Green, Erith, Crayford and Dartford together, Shitholes all. There is a Traveler camp a little further up the road, which is of course a coincidence as they are probably nicer than the permanent residents.
I used to live in Erith btw. Embarassed

I like the over-the-roundabout-with-hoodieandgoggles look...very Mad Max. It's a shame the girl with the crutch didn't get stuck in. Disappointing lack of violence, spitting of broken teeth, dogs etc. All very middle class, what is this country coming to?

I have no idea, but people keep posting General Bike Videos in Biking News and Rumours, so the signs aren't encouraging.

My mate is from Crayford, moved to Austrailia maybe 8 years ago. He's now married with two kids and they're coming back for a couple of years as his wife would like to live in the UK for a bit (she's an Aussie) and his parents will get to see more of the grandkids.
When he told me I was kinda stunned. You're moving from the Gold Coast back to Crayford?
I know sandy beaches and driving a ute isn't the be all and end all, but fuck me, she's in for a shock. Laughing

So this should be in General Bike Vids? It's in today's Daily Mail so I put it here. If it matters maybe a mod could move it.

I would so like to the mercedes driver prosecuted for dangerous driving, and attempted murder.

Yes, the kid on the bike should not have been there, no lid, no helmet, and in all probability no licence or insurance. A whole world of potential harm with the rider most likely of all to get hurt.

But attacking somebody with a motor vehicle. Not justified. Our own police often cannot justify persuit of motorcycle riders.

Anyone here wanna be embedded in a car becasue in the completely sound, unbiased and objective opinion of the driver you were going a bit fast?

The driver knew more than that though. These twats are riding with no licences or insurance, we know it, they know it, the police know it [inb4 liberals and their "PLATE MIGHT HAVE FELL OFF" crap].

And if he had succeeded in retaining the bike, its real owner would probably be happy to have it back.

That kid is a scumbag. Likely a thief. There's more to the animosity towards him than simply riding too fast. Those people are the scum of the earth and this driver knew it. The riding was simply the final catalyst

That's 5 minutes' walk from where I'm sat at work. There are a couple of estates nearby, quite a few pedbois and scramblers about. In 2013 someone was killed on that road when drunkenly playing chicken with cars. Obviously he lost.

There are of course BMW and Merc tossers locally but I’ll side with the driver. It’s chav c*nts like that kid who make my insurance so expensive.

No sympathy for Scrambler-Pedboi what so ever and not sure where all this compassion is coming from?
All current speculation suggests he will mature into a top notch thug and the judicial system isn't going to do anything about him.
Screw those sticking up for him as well, complicit in thug life and therefore should be written off by society.

Export the lot of them to some stinking hole of an island and let them all 'fite' each other for the 'mostest respectedness boss man' title and be done with it.
We all live by rules that get us hammered for breaching them and yet these feral youths do as they wish and are to much hassle for the law to bother with...

</Rant>

Shame the bike got dropped....

Oh, I agree, I'm just enjoying the schadenfreude of how cack-handed Mercman's vigilantism was.

Either brake check then drive off (he didn't know he was being filmed), or do a proper job of it. Being swarmed by ferals has resulted in Terry Trackies there still bombing around on "his" bike while the driver is likely to eat much the same legal and financial consequences as if he'd parked on the bike.

That would be the fault of the insurance industry and people more interested in their precious poncemobiles than traveling.

I don't think it's compassion for the retarded roundaboat offroader so much as the mercman comes across as a twat too. Probably reminds them of incidents like this.

And i'm waiting for one of us to become one with a mercedes because the driver either loses track of the vehicles surrounding him or decides that motorcyclists are all the same. You can't see a number plate in the rear view mirror.

Is a property offence or potential to cause harm more serious than use of a motor vehice with intent to cause harm?

Think about it. Think about all the rage induced by the i didn't mean to, i only looked at my phone for a few seconds excuses that get drivers lax penalties for unintentional murder of motorcylists. What happens if but i thought he were uninsured council estate scumbag becomes a valid defence
