Still using my gloves I got from them in 2013. Don't really like the new ones that much (bought another pair one year), don't seem to fit as nicely.

They also have a car battery-powered electric oil suction pump fro £12.99 - Might pick up one and see if it's any good.

They are not just thick socks, every pair I have are very thin indeed, a pair of standard football socks is way thicker
than any of my bike socks.

I think they are awesome, I only need more because I started wearing them at other times as well.
Usually they are anatomically cut so they are handed (or footed Laughing ), and made of wicking materials that pull damp
away from the feet. They are usually also quite slippery if you catch my drift so when you pull your boots on over
the top your foot slips into the boot easily. I have some Dainese ones which were expensive and some Lidl/Aldi ones
which were not and they are better than the Dainese ones if I'm honest. I get really irritated by seams in socks and bike
socks seem to be made mostly with flat seams. The weirdest part is when you get them out of the washing machine and
even though they should be cold and wet they already feel dry to the touch.

I had a Lidl crash helmet a few years ago and it was good, I liked it a lot.
My mate borrowed it and he liked it so much that he permanently "borrowed" it Confused .

I might think about getting another.
The last one I had , had the ACU gold sticker on it and the German TUV marker on it also, so cant be to bad?

They are very similar to that kind of thing, only longer. But they also have strategically placed compression panels as well.

LIDL gloves are excellent. If it wasn't for LIDL gloves - I probably wouldn't have hands anymore. There's a testimonial if you ever wanted one.

Lidl helmets!!!. Shocked

Think i'd rather try the local jumble sale. Laughing

Why? For what reason? The Lidl one has passed the very same tests that the branded top of the range lids have passed for sale in the UK market. It carries the ECE 22.05 pass mark.

I'd trust one if it fitted correctly than some ones second hand, possibly dropped, battered out of shape helmet any day of the week.

The helmets on offer last year were made very cheaply, very light with not a lot of padding inside and a nasty feel to the visor mechanism, the hinge for the flip front and whatever. The lack of padding was a concern because I would guess they are really noisy, I could certainly still hear what was going on in the shop, but I don't doubt they're every bit as safe as anything else. The only reason real reason I didn't buy the flip front was because it didn't fit my head.

I was hoping for some trousers on offer this time but it seems we'll have to wait until Aldi try it again. And then wait for the prices to get discounted..
