They're great aren't they? Bought my GSXR750 in OCTOBER and just got the registration certificate through today. Nice one boys, only 4 months! Rolling Eyes

Do you know when the person you bought it from actually sent it off though?

I bought a bike about three weeks ago and the V5 arrived within two weeks. Smile

Same time I did mine (I think) - I sent off the "Oi where's my V5, you bastards?" form about ten days ago.

I bought the GSXR600 a couple of weekends ago and no sign of that one yet (not holding my breath!)

It could just be the seller being slack or Royal Fail being crap as per normal.

I'm betting it's a Royal Mail problem, they are even more useless than the DVLA. Rolling Eyes

4 months? Crickey!

I got mine back within 10 days. Maybe they put yours at the bottom of the pile and kept it there?

My V5, transferring from my dads name to my name is only a change of 1 word.

Nicholas Malcolm Hall -> Nicholas Daniel Hall

It took 10 days, 4 months seems a little excessive, did you contact them to see what had happened to it?

I got a letter in December saying "We've got the form, your V5 is on the way. If you haven't heard anything in 6 weeks blah blah blah". I think the reminder I sent 10 days ago (or so) must have booted them up the arse!
