I saw 4 bikes on the way to work today. Over the past few months it's only me pootling about. One tried to get himself splatted by taking on an artic - much parping of horn, many scuttling of motorcyclist.

'Tis the season. Not so much up here today, but they're starting to emerge in dribs and drabs, gleaming bikes, timid filtering, all jeans and enthusiasm. Bless.

Season?

Yep.
It's moving from the 'getting to where you want to go while staying nice and warm and dry because you can afford more than one mode of transport' season to the 'I'd quite like to take the bike to work/for a spin today because it's not freezing cold and pissing down' season.

Once the heavy fog lifted by midday it was the first day I could say it felt like British summer time. Mild, bright skies and sun.

Shame the roads were still damp from the night before and still covered in salt/general gritty shit, give it another month and we will be in full swing

Is it just me who really hates being around other bikers? At least cagers are somewhat predictable, other bikers like to ride alongside you, go around corners with you, go for the same gap you're obviously going for when they're behind.

I guess I wish there was some comradery between bikers on the road, but you have to watchout for bikes as much as anyone.

Noticed a few more bikes on the road the past week or so.

Also noticed 9/10 bikers will nod/wave but the shiny cruiser fags obviously are jealous of my Jap poor mans Harley cause they never say hello.
