I changed my stock handlebars recently and now my choke cable has no slack - the new handlebars are a slightly different shape , now when I turn the handlebars the choke comes on slightly.

Is there a way of extending a choke cable an inch or two? Have thought up various ways to bodge it but would prefer not to.

Cheers

Go to your local motorbike shops and ask if they know a control cable maker. They'll make the inside and the outside as well as the screw ins at both ends or recycle the current ones.

Around Manchester you wouldn't know it but there are 10+ of them.

Apologies for the obvious, but have you tried re-routing the cable? Or is it already on the most direct route?

Already on the most direct route, that was my first and last idea on how to sort it out Laughing

I will do what Itchy suggested.

Thanks both Thumbs Up

Venhill will make you one if you are stuck. Not cheap. Not eyewatering either. You might need to post them the old one.
