It didn't used to be the case and it doesn't make a damn bit of sense, but here we are. If the bike claimed over 70kW as new then it's not suitable for use on A2 no matter how far you restrict it[*].
Think Monster, Fazer, ER6F, GSX650F. No real sports 600s (CBR F/FS/RR, Ninja, R6, Gixxer).
You'll see claims that one model of GSX-R600 was under 70kW, but sadly it's not. That number comes from one dyno test of rear wheel power. What (again sadly) matters is the "net engine power" that the manufacturer originally claimed, which has always been over 70kW.
In any case, CBT, training, tests, then decide on a bike. You'll be in a far better position to know what you want.
[*] In a particularly perverse bit of Brussels Bampottery, you can technically make a legal bike illegal by restricting it too much.  ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I actually only like a certain look on a bike, unfortunately them bikes are normally always way way to fast for me
But I like the Monster so I will probably go for that after I have done all the tests I need to do ____________________ Im new! |

Intardtubes wisdom is that it's supposed to have different camshafts.
https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=street+triple doesn't list it as a separate model.
Could mean that they're just registering it as a regular Street, or that they haven't sold any in the UK, ever.
Any why would they? Where's the market? You're looking at people who are 19 to 23 with an A2 license, but who are in a position to buy a brand new Triple, hobbled forever to 70kW, then further crippled down to 35kW.
You'd have to really, really want to be on a Triple to do that. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
