Had I been born a bit ago, I wouldn't have even got to school. I'd have been sweeping chimneys or having my arms in looms because of my gangliness. Probably be dead by now too, what with my "arsthmaarr" (Reference to Lord of the Flies, there).

I managed to get to school/college/uni/post grad despite my societal underprivilege and into my first job earning more than anybody else in my family.

Modern world. And internal combustion engines. Yes please.
