First and only time was very nearly 30 years ago, on the back of a GPZ belonging to my flatmate's boyfriend. Off to the seaside in t-shirt, jeans and trainers (plus borrowed lid) as we didn't fit in the minibus the others were taking.

A few years ago now when Dad had his Hornet. Can't remember which bike I had off the road meaning that I couldn't ride myself.

Hornet pillion seats are surprisingly uncomfortable.

My first and last time was when doing my mod 1 training. Trainer had to take 2 of us to the tarmac area with only 2 bikes. I had to go pillion. It was a shitty experience. He accelerated hard, braked hard. it had a tiny grab rail at the back. I swear I nearly fell off the back.

I'd rather walk than ever have to ride pillion again.
