Bought boots there last year, used nearly every day and still dry and still feel in nearly new condition, I have no complaints on the durability front.

They do feel a little bit plasticy and low rent but they are comfortable enough, ok to walk short distances in and I suspect they would crash fairly well, but I'm not an expert.

Would buy again, but I don't need any right now Very Happy

The gloves from last year were pretty good too....

Chain clean and chain lube are at throwaway prices if the same size bottles as what I'd usually get for around £8 from any regular shop.

Silkolene chain lube myself. £2.99 I'd take a gamble.

I switched from mucoff to the WD40 stuff a while back. Suppose it's down to personal preference really, but I like it and will certainly be stocking up as it's less than half the price it's sold for in halfords.

200ml cans, halfords currently have 100ml (chain lube) for £4.99 & 400ml for £9.49.

Not used mucoff, but I quite like the wd-40 chain lube. Doesn't go everywhere and seems to stay on well.

You get what you pay for yada yada. I've personally never tried the boots but in my experience unless they are goretex you gonna get wet feet it's just a matter of when not if.

Those who say otherwise obviously haven't ridden on the motorway in a vortex of spray and torrential rain.

Also Aldi is for peasents. It stinks literally in Aldis I've ever been in of cheapness I don't expect their motorcycle gear to be anything but.

Their veg is better than sainsburys and half the price. lets face it a carrot is a carrot. Their Toro Loco Rioja is amazing for £3.75 ive paid three times as much for simerler quality in the big supermarkets. Sure some of the stuff is crap but if you find their loss leaders your quids in. The veg is one the wine is the other.

There was something on TV recently about how their veg is past date Smile

Main reason I don't go to Lidl/Aldi is that they only ever seem to have 2 checkouts open, and some of their stuff is garbage, such as tin tomatoes that are just water.

I found them to be ridiculously baggy in the leg - I looked like a 90s rapper.

Then again I do have chicken legs. The photo seems to suggest they've made them narrower in the leg. Worth buying just to try on, or just walk into shop with a tight baselayer on the bottom half - you'll look no different than half the women who frequent the place Laughing

True might pop down and have a look, can stock up on chain lube while I'm there.

I wouldn't bother getting anything that I'd expect to be of decent, reliable, long lasting quality from Aldi.
I did however buy a few pairs of bike socks and a base layer set a couple of years ago and they do a good job and have lasted, which to be honest, I didn't expect.

I'll check out the WD stuff but my main target will be the Singapore noodles.

They weren't that bad for the money £8.99 (I think) and lasted over a year outside.
